Product description
Based
on the amazing VTOL aircraft V 22 Osprey and the Bell BA 609 of the Americans, we
developed in 2 years development work our VTOL aircraft “TILT 607”.
Altogether 8 prototypes preceded the standard model. This model is very easily
and stably built. Thus it makes possible to make it self familiar for the model
fliers with the flight characteristics. The model is developed to the majority
from EPP and carbon reinforcement. The flight characteristics are a mixture
between model airplane and helicopter. If one learned the new flight
characteristics (this succeeds to helicopter pilots very fast), then the TILT
607 is amazingly simple to fly. The level of difficulty of floating is the same
with that of a helicopter. The rotors forward tilted, then it flies nearly like
a normal airplane and achieves themselves high airspeeds. In the hovering flight
and/or. Slow straight flight the model can be flight also in resounds.
How is the TILT 607 actually controlled?
Description of flight:
The
TILT 607 is controlled like a mixture from helicopter and model airplane.
On
the pitch stick you can raise synchronous the number of revolutions of both
engines. On the roll stick are speed differences between the right and left
motor generates (add mixed), and the ailerons are controlled by the roll stick
too (mixed together). The model moves to the right or to the left. In the
straight flight the ailerons take over this function. The nick stick controls
the tilting of the rotors and thus the most important function of the TILT 607.
It stands in the basic position in the middle (hover area) also like a normal
helicopter. If you move the nick stick forward, the TILT 607 will be faster. If
the nick stick almost entirely in front, so the 90 ° rotation completed and the
model flies like a normal plane straight. If you move the nick stick more
forward, the rotors moves a bit lower, and the model flies to the bottom,
similar to the "press" of an ordinary model airplane. If you move the
nick stick further back, the model flies back to top. These will be supported by
the pitch stick with more or less speed. Back on the center position: If you
move the nick stick a little to the back, the rotors are moving slightly to the
rear and the model brake to slow down. The rear stick controls the tail rotor in
both directions. The model turns to the left or to the right. With a
V-connection at the same time you can control the side rudder. (You can also use
a mixer, but then you need a receiver with 6 channels) With the side rudder you
can introduce elegantly the curves.
The model is based on the perfectly coordinated components only as a
complete kit available!
Suitable for helicopter pilots and pilots with 3D or Torque experience.
Not suitable for beginners.
